Edge of the World

at the edge of the world
the elongated pain, the pixilated plane of reality falls away
naught
but the Silences remain: supreme gods in their domain.
a clarity, an absence of
thought
the stagnant air draws breath again – the free flow of ideas.
amidst a glaring light the Soul takes flight

to return again.

Put this one down ages ago and just now picked it up again. I might pen/ink it eventually, but I started this in pencil when the idea first struck me and I just went with it. My original thought: "On the edge of the world stood the Tree of Knowledge: wilt thou Transcend?" Enjoy!

P.S. - I did this on the back of scrap paper, so pardon the random blotches that have bled through the printer paper, hee hee.
